Award-winning book and software publishers, Rising Stars’ products include the Switched on ICT scheme and a range of great value eBooks.

Switched on ICT is a new ICT scheme supporting creativity, progression and effective assessment at Key Stages 1 and 2. It was developed in association with the London Borough of Havering, including extensive piloting in schools.

The eBooks can be read on a very wide range of devices, from mobile phones and other handheld devices, to netbooks, laptops and PCs.  Being electronic, they is no need to replace lost or damaged titles every year and the books remain in pristine condition. Nor do readers have to wait for a popular book to be returned before they can read it.

Titles typically have reading ages ranging from 7 to 10, however the “interest age” varies from 7 to 16+, depending on the series. This makes them highly suitable for engaging reluctant readers. eBooks come with a permanent whole-school licence which allows them to be accessed by an unlimited number of users from both home and school, via the school network or learning platform/VLE.
